Hidden room, old notebook on canvas
„Hidden gardens” is a series created using ruled pages of the notebooks dating back to the era of PPR (Polish People’s Republic). Lines (graphic marks), associated with schematism, rigorous rules of school education and giving up on one’s personal experiments, become a component of spatially unlimited landscapes and new dimensions. It’s a tale of imagination tired of monotony, and seeking liberty.
